ITV Catch Up

ITV were facing stiff competition and wanted to re-vamp their Catch Up pages on the main itv.com website.

Brief

To completely overhaul ITV's Catch Up pages, supporting the launch of their new online TV player. All the functionality had to be obvious and useable - as the general public weren't finding and using the existing content.

The Result

An integrated and branded area of the ITV website that enables ITV to push content to users as well as offering further opportunities for their advertisers. The users are able to catch up on any programmes they've missed, day or night before or anytime within 30 days. And it's another great way to pass the time or lunch hour!

Our Solution

It became apparent that users would need to access and filter the information in a variety of ways, we also thought it would be great if ITV could push. The solution was to allow users to find information through an interactive, visual calendar; A-Z look-up, a programme list and a top 10.

On the home page ITV can showcase unmissable content upfront, with clear call to actions. This allows them to highlight programmes of interest and further market some of their most popular shows.

More promotional opportunities for ITV are handled by the 'What about' and 'Crucial Catch Up' areas.
